Trauma can cause such deep wounding that it influences our behaviors and our daily life even though the events may have happened years ago.
These types of seemingly impossible emotional problems won’t go away with traditional “normal counseling.”

Brief intensive therapy is the most effective method of dealing with long-standing issues related to past trauma.
Here is how the brief intensive therapy program works:

Clients meet with therapist, Trudy M. Johnson, LMFT, Monday through Friday for three hours a day for five days or ten days.

Trudy uses several techniques that are concentrated specifically to the clients’ individual concerns. This type of therapy is much more effective for long-standing issues than the traditional one hour per week form of counseling. This is a concentrated, goal-directed therapy designed to get to the root issues and produce long-term “heart shift” results.

This distinctively Christian perspective provides an environment of safety along with accelerated healing that produces permanent changes for women and couples.  Trudy is also trained as a Certified Splankna Therapist that incorporates Christian mind-body techniques which are extremely effective in healing long-term past trauma.

Brief intensive therapy is just that...
intense.  You will spend concentrated chunks of time that equal years of counseling.  The good news is that change occurs and those changes are permanent.  Literally,  going through one intense therapy program is equal to 1,000’s of hours of sitting in a counselor’s office for weekly visits year after year.
